"Tita Jokes" is a musical comedy revue about the lives of Filipin* people, especially older women who are called "Tita" in Filipino. The musical comedy will look at the struggles, heartbreaks, and strength of the Filipino people, as well as how they deal with things with humor, stories, and songs.

Another hilarious performance by Tita Collective, the renowned all-Filipina collective based in Toronto and comprised of award-winning playwrights, comedians, musicians, dancers, theatre artists, and actors, will take place on December 8, 9, and 10 at Comedy Bar 2800 Danforth Avenue in Scarborough.

“Tita Jokes” is a musical comedy revue that focuses on the lives of Filipin* people, particularly female elders known as “Tita” in Filipino. The musical comedy will explore Filipinos’ struggles, heartaches, and resilience, as well as how they cope through humor, storytelling, and song. Another musical comedy sketch that only Filipinx can truly claim as their own.

Tickets are available for $25 online or $30 at the door. So, if you want to have fun while learning about Filipino humor and how it is linked to their culture and tradition, “Tita Jokes” can show you how and will surely tickle your bones with entertainment that will make you laugh endlessly while singing along with the Tita Collective actors.
