Migrante Quebec begins activities for IMD 2022
This will be the first event hosted by Migrante Quebec that focuses on the cultural and literary aspects of Montreal's migrant workers.

Migrante Quebec is preparing for International Migrants Day 2022 (IMD), which will be held on December 18, 2022.

According to Migrante Quebec, photography and poetry workshops will be held in Montreal from November 20 to November 23 at locations to be announced soon.

There will also be a photo and poetry exhibit about migrant workers titled “Buhay Migrante Litrato at Tula” in both Montreal and Sherbrooke from December 17 to December 18.

This will be the first event hosted by Migrante Quebec that focuses on the cultural and literary aspects of Montreal’s migrant workers. Last September, the organization hosted a martial law exhibit that featured stories from victims and survivors of martial law, as well as photographs of those who had lived through it.

Participants in this year’s IMD event in Quebec have until November 20th to submit their work. The event is being organized by Migrante Quebec.
